Thought of the day

12/14/2021

As we contemplate another day gone by, another week and month gone by we are still in a state of influx as the virus takes hold of our lives. Everyone trying to do the best that they can. We take ourselves inside more, and I mean inside ourselves, to reevaluate our lives and our relationships and the choices that we have made. It sets one on its end as we look back at our decisions. Wanting for the simpler life of days gone by trying to adjust to this new "normal".  Not given the choice it seems at times but we all struggle to be , be the best we can be and to speak up for what is right sometimes no matter what the consequences. But as we watch the news and see the unrest among us, the prejudices among us as a human race we wonder what will become of us as a whole in this monumentus time in history. Only time will tell when the judgements and harsh realities come crashing down around us.  How will we handle it, with compassion and empathy or judgment and jealousy as we had been doing. I would hope with compassion and empathy toward our fellow man and the earth for she needs care as we do. When you look around the fires, floods, tornadoes and catastrophes that are reshaping the earth causing Mother Earth to heal. What will the future look like? What will the earth look like? What will become of us if we don't change. We are being forced to change to become compassionate and empathic towards our fellow man and surroundings but are we? I hope so for the future of our children and our children's children, for the next generations to inhabit this earth. Thanks for taking the time to listen it is an important message for all of mankind we need to change.
